Role Summary

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who'd like to join a company from its launch period and learn from it -- you'll gain experience in store opening, brand development, and customer-relationship management. The ideal candidate for this role is outgoing, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. This role requires standing, lifting 20-30 lbs cases of alcohol, kneeling, bending, climbing ladders, interacting with customers, and working with POS machines. Retail store experience is an asset, but it's not required; if you have a great attitude and are ready to learn, then we'd love to welcome you to the 1933 team! Our goal is to build an upbeat and inclusive work environment.

Role Responsibilities

:

Sales - assisting customers; answering their questions and making knowledgeable recommendations Cashier work - checking out customers using a POS machine Inventory - counting inventory, moving inventory, unpacking boxes, and stocking shelves General cleaning - sanitizing, dusting, and sweeping Online orders - preparing and packaging Private events - assisting with tasting events

Requirements

:

Must have excellent communication skills - you will be required to interact with clients in professional and engaging manner Must be 19 years of age or older Must be able to lift 50lbs Must be able to work on evenings and weekends Must have, or obtain, Serving It Right certification by job start date Must be able to legally work in Canada

Hours

: Part-time (15-20 hours/week)

Compensation

: $18.00/hr
