Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Shuttle Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting guests or employees safely and efficiently between designated locations. This role is crucial in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for all passengers. A background in hospitality or custodial services is preferred, as maintaining cleanliness within the shuttle is essential.

Valid class 4 license is required, with a clear driver's abstract.

Previous transport experience, with hotel shuttle experience being an asset.

Ability to assist guest's with loading and unloading their luggage (up to 50lbs.)

Ability to multi-task, with good time management skills.

Responsibilities

Safely operate the shuttle vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Provide timely transportation for guests or employees to and from specified locations. Maintain a clean and orderly shuttle environment, ensuring it meets hospitality standards. Assist passengers with loading and unloading their belongings as needed. Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes and schedules. Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly to management.

Skills

Proven experience in a driving role, preferably within the hospitality or transportation industry. Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices for vehicle operation. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact positively with diverse groups of people. Attention to detail, particularly regarding cleanliness and maintenance of the shuttle vehicle. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed. Previous experience in hotel or industrial cleaning is a plus, enhancing the overall guest experience through cleanliness.
