Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and be able to effectively communicate with clients to understand their needs. This role is essential in providing therapeutic massage services that promote relaxation, relieve stress, and enhance overall well-being.

Duties

Provide professional massage therapy services tailored to individual client needs. Assess client conditions by reviewing medical history and conducting thorough consultations. Utilize various massage techniques and modalities to address specific issues such as pain relief, muscle tension, and relaxation. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with clients regarding their treatment plans and provide education on self-care practices. Document client progress and treatment outcomes accurately in accordance with clinic policies. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Experience

Valid certification as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) is required. Previous experience in a clinical or spa setting is preferred but not mandatory. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with clients. Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus, aiding in effective communication within a healthcare environment. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $65.00-$70.00 per hour
