We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. This role is essential for ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests while overseeing the front-of-house operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for food service, with a focus on maintaining high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction.
Duties
Supervise daily front-of-house operations, ensuring all staff adhere to food safety and handling protocols.
Lead and support the front-of-house team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
Assist in food preparation and ensure that all dishes are presented according to our quality standards.
Train new staff members on proper food handling techniques, customer service expectations, and operational procedures.
Manage guest interactions, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly to enhance their dining experience.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient communication between front and back of house.
Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain operational efficiency.
Uphold cleanliness and organization in all front-of-house areas, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Requirements
Proven experience in the food industry, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
Experience in bartending is a plus but not mandatory.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional customer service.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
