Upper Tantallon Family Practice: Part Time Registered Massage Therapist

We are a Family Wellness Practice looking for a motivated and passionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our practice on a part time basis (mixture of daytime and afternoon / evening). Our practice has been established in the community for over 16 years, we have an existing client base and a 2-4 week wait list for massage therapy. Our mission is to establish long term relationships with families in our community to empower and help educate them on a journey to greater health and a more vibrant life! You'll be joining a team of three very passionate and knowledgeable Chiropractors who focus on family health, as well as another established, skilled Registered Massage Therapist with various areas of interest spanning prenatal care, women's health, PTSD, sports recovery, injury recovery, juvenile conditions, manual lymphatic drainage, etc.

Successful Applicants Must:

be registered with MTANS be able to demonstrate an understanding of other health care disciplines live a healthy lifestyle and be congruent as an example of health have a strong wellness philosophy in own life be able to determine and communicate plans of care be local or willing to commute regularly(flexibility to cover other RMTs hours when away is an asset but not necessary) be willing to work as an independent contractor be willing to work in a team setting and refer to other professionals have experience in family care, maternal massage and myofascial release is beneficial but not necessary be comfortable providing detailed homecare and ongoing treatment plans some evening availability (2 days per week preferably) new graduates with a strong wellness philosophy and confidence in treatment planning are welcome to apply 16 - 25 hours available weekly Available Hours are on M/W/F Afternoons and T/TH Mornings

Pay: $60.00-$65.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 25 per week
