Fanshawe College is seeking interested and experienced fashion professionals to teach part-time in the Fashion Design program in the School of Design.
Reporting to the Program Manager, School of Design, part-time professors are responsible for teaching courses within the Fashion Design program and developing an effective learning environment for students.
Note: These are part-time temporary Faculty positions (up to 6 hours per week) starting September 2, 2025, and ending December 12, 2025.
Note: These positions are located at Fanshawe's main campus at 1001 Fanshawe College Blvd., London, Ontario.
General Qualifications:

  • Combination of excellent leadership and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success
  • Excellent communicator (verbal and written)
  • Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners
  • Strong technical/computer skills and familiarity with educational technologies are required
  • Related industry work experience, previous college teaching experience and knowledge of curriculum design and student evaluations are assets
  • Demonstrated commitment to lifelong learning and leading innovation
Specific Qualifications:
  • Qualified candidates must have a minimum of a undergraduate degree in
  • Minimum 5 years' recent and relevant industry experience
