We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
Review and interpret physician orders to ensure accurate medication dispensing.
Provide patient counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care plans, particularly in acute care and pediatrics.
Monitor patient medication therapy for effectiveness, safety, and adherence.
Maintain accurate records of medication administration and patient profiles.
Educate healthcare staff on medical terminology related to pharmacotherapy.
Participate in quality assurance initiatives to improve pharmacy services.
Stay updated on new medications, therapies, and industry trends.
Qualifications
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid pharmacist license in the state of practice.
Hospital experience preferred, particularly in acute care settings.
Knowledge of pediatrics is a plus.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to pharmacology.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care.
