Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and professional
Night Auditor
to join our great team. This role combines front desk guest service responsibilities with essential nightly auditing. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional hospitality, ensure an efficient overnight front office operation, and maintain the hotel's professional financial standards by managing end-of-day procedures.
Responsibilities
- Guest Services & Front Desk Operations
Greet all guests professionally upon arrival and departure, ensuring a warm, welcoming experience
Perform check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with Hilton brand standards
Respond to guest inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email, providing accurate, helpful information
Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance to enhance overall satisfaction
Handle special requests such as room changes, late checkouts, amenity deliveries, or billing adjustments
Process payments, verify identification, and follow secure cash-handling and credit card procedures
Maintain knowledge of local attractions, transportation options, restaurants, and hotel services to assist guest.

Night Audit Responsibilities
Complete nightly audit procedures to balance and reconcile the hotel's daily financial transactions
Verify room charges, payments, folios, and departmental postings for accuracy
Check end-of-day reports against POS systems and correct discrepancies before morning turnover
Prepare and distribute daily financial summaries, reports, and supporting documentation for management
Audit and process no-shows, cancellations, rate overrides, to ensure compliance with policies
Review credit card authorizations and correct any declined transactions
Ensure all revenue outlets (front desk, restaurant, marketplace, etc.) are balanced and properly recorded
Investigate irregularities in daily reports and escalate issues when required
Perform system resets, rollovers, and backups to prepare for the next business day
Verify cash float balances and ensure proper documentation of deposits
Skills
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Strong customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor
Previous experience in front desk or hospitality roles preferred
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse guests
Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and guest service software is a plus
Knowledge of hotel operations, guest services, and hospitality standards
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Professional appearance and positive attitude at all times
