A warm, professional family in Coquitlam is seeking a caring and dependable
infant caregiver
to support them during late afternoons and early evenings. The family has a nanny during the day and requires consistent coverage once daytime care ends.
Mom is often home on her own during this transition period while dad travels back from work, so having an extra set of experienced, capable hands is essential. This is an
ongoing, part-time role beginning in January
.
Responsibilities
Provide attentive, loving care for a 5-month-old infant
Support feeding, soothing, and age-appropriate play
Assist with evening routines as needed
Offer hands-on support to mom during the busiest hours of the day
Tidy and maintain baby-related areas (bottles, toys, play spaces)
Help maintain a calm, organized, and nurturing home environment
Follow the family's established routines and communicate openly
Ideal Candidate
Has
strong, recent experience caring for infants under 1 year
Is reliable, punctual, and able to commit to Monday-Friday hours
Feels comfortable working alongside a parent in the home
Brings a warm, gentle, and confident approach to infant care
Values consistency, communication, and professionalism
