As a key part of our kitchen, the Line Cook ensures consistent, high-quality dishes are served to our guests in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food is handled and stored in compliance with food safety regulations (FoodSafe)
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation, including equipment and surfaces
Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies for service
Ensure proper portion control, presentation, and garnishing of dishes
Assist with prep work, inventory rotation, and restocking as needed
Adhere to kitchen protocols and health & safety standards at all times
Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or Kitchen Supervisor
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of kitchen experience in a similar role
Valid FoodSafe or equivalent food handling certification required
Strong multitasking and time management skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
High standards for cleanliness, organization, and food quality
Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and grow
