This role will work Fridays 11:00am - 7:00pm, Saturdays 10:00am - 6:00pm and Sundays 11:00am - 5:00pm weekly. Candidates must be available for those hours. The initial contract period will be through September 30, 2025 with a possibility for extension based on business needs.

What This Role Is All About

Chard is looking for a customer-focused and results-driven Leasing Specialist to support our rental communities. As a Leasing Specialist, you're the first point of contact for prospective residents--and a key ambassador of Chard's purpose-built rental properties. You'll guide people through the leasing journey with professionalism, warmth, and a deep understanding of what makes our communities stand out. From booking showings and responding to inquiries, to preparing lease documents and supporting move-ins, you play a vital role in ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience for every resident. What You'll Be Doing

Leasing & Resident Experience



Respond promptly and professionally to leasing inquiries--online, by phone, and in person. Schedule and conduct property tours with prospective residents, highlighting suite features, building amenities, and community benefits. Build strong relationships with prospective and current residents, delivering a friendly, informed, and consistent leasing experience. Hold open house events weekly to build traffic in the building and capture potential resident interest

Administrative & Operational Support



Maintain accurate records in property management and CRM systems (e.g., Yardi), including traffic reports, lease data, and applicant communications. Coordinate with the Property Manager, Maintenance, and Resident Services teams to ensure units are tour-ready and move-in ready. Support marketing initiatives by distributing materials, updating listings, and capturing feedback from prospective renters.
What You'll Bring

Preferred experience in residential leasing, property management, hospitality, or a related field. Familiarity with lease agreements, rental processes, and relevant legislation (e.g., the Residential Tenancy Act). Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Yardi or other property management platforms is an asset. Availability to work weekends or evenings to support showings

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
