Part-Time Household Manager (Edmonton, AB)

We are a fun loving Filipino-Brazilian Christian family in west Edmonton with three children (ages 9, 8, and 4). Our oldest two catch the school bus, while our youngest attends dayhome. We are seeking a dependable, caring, and detail-oriented Part-Time Household Manager to support our family starting late September or October.

Schedule

Weekdays: 7:00-9:00 AM and 3:00-6:00 PM Plus two additional cleaning blocks per week Approx. 29 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

Safely drive our 4-year-old to and from dayhome (family vehicle provided) Prepare healthy meals, school lunches, and snacks within a set food budget Daily household upkeep: tidying, dishes, sweeping/mopping, and one load of laundry per day Weekly deep cleaning (bathrooms, floors, baseboards, windows, kitchen, linens, walls) Support with homework and after-school routines for the older children Meal prep for breakfast, dinner, and next-day lunches

Requirements

Proven childcare experience (references required) High cleaning standards and strong organizational skills Valid driver's licence and reliable personal vehicle Current First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain) Strong English proficiency (spoken and written) Must already be eligible to work in Canada (we cannot provide visa sponsorship) Comfortable working in a Christian home environment

Punctual, reliable, and proactive Friendly, nurturing, and trustworthy Flexible when the unexpected comes up (because kids!) Able to work independently while keeping household priorities in order

Nice to Haves

Experience cooking a variety of family-friendly meals Knowledge of child development or early education Familiarity with eco-friendly cleaning methods and products

Practical Details

Location: West Edmonton (easy access and free street parking available) Hourly wage: $22-$27 based on experience Mileage reimbursement available for dayhome driving
