Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable and skilled

Part-Time Handyman

to assist with general maintenance and repairs across our managed properties in the St. John's area. This position offers flexibility in scheduling and steady weekly work for the right individual.

Responsibilities:

Perform basic building maintenance and repairs (plumbing, drywall, painting, doors, lighting, etc.) Complete small carpentry or fixture installation tasks as assigned Assist with seasonal property upkeep (snow clearing prep, lawn care assistance, exterior touch-ups) Respond to maintenance requests from property managers in a timely and professional manner Conduct routine inspections and report any required repairs or safety issues Maintain tools, supplies, and work areas in a clean and organized manner Ensure all work meets company standards for quality and safety

Qualifications:

Proven experience in general maintenance, construction, or handyman work Reliable transportation and basic set of tools Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Good communication and problem-solving skills Punctual, trustworthy, and detail-oriented

Schedule & Compensation:

10-20 hours per week, flexible schedule depending on workload and availability $20/hour during probationary period, increasing to $24/hour upon successful completion All work is located within the St. John's area

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
