About the Role
We're looking for a reliable, skilled, and detail-oriented
handyman
to assist with ongoing home maintenance and repairs. The ideal candidate is experienced with a variety of home improvement tasks and takes pride in quality work. This is a flexible, part-time position with consistent weekly hours and occasional one-off projects.Responsibilities
Recurring maintenance tasks include:
Changing air filters, light bulbs, and smoke detector batteries Maintaining pool and hot tub (basic upkeep, cleaning, water treatment) Seasonal home upkeep (gutters, outdoor maintenance, etc.)
One-off or as-needed projects may include:
Painting and touch-ups (interior/exterior) Flooring repairs or installation Minor plumbing or electrical fixes General home repairs and improvements
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of general handyman or maintenance experience Must have own tools and reliable transportation Comfortable working independently and managing time effectively Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Must be dependable, communicative, and trustworthy
Schedule & Compensation
3-7 hours per week (flexible scheduling) Pay rate: $35-$45/hour, based on experience and skill set Work primarily in Cumberland, with occasional travel to Rockland
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 - 7 per week
Work Location: In person
