Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education and demonstrate a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves developing and implementing engaging curricula that promote the holistic development of children, while also ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity. Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a structured and supportive atmosphere. Assess and monitor the progress of each child, providing feedback to parents and guardians as needed. Implement behavior management strategies to support children's social-emotional development. Provide individualized support for children with special needs or those requiring early intervention services. Promote literacy and numeracy education through engaging activities that develop reading and math skills.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred. Proven experience working with children in an educational setting, such as preschool or daycare. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and standardized testing methods. Strong bilingual (Eng/Chin) communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Experience in behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies. Background in special education or tutoring is a plus. Ability to create an inclusive environment that respects diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
