Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction estimating, with the ability to analyze project specifications and develop accurate cost estimates.

Duties

Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs. Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to gather necessary information for estimates. Review contracts and specifications to understand project requirements and scope. Provide support during the bidding process by preparing bid proposals and presenting estimates to clients. Maintain comprehensive records of all estimates, changes, and communications related to pricing.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field. Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships. Familiarity with cost control measures and pricing strategies within the construction industry. Previous experience on construction sites is a plus, providing practical insight into project execution. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate estimation processes. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and clients. Experience:

Construction estimating: 4 years (preferred)
