Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism, with opportunities to utilize skills such as commercial driving, forklift operation, and heavy equipment handling. The Delivery Driver plays a vital role in maintaining the company's reputation by ensuring that all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.

Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport freight and goods to designated locations. Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed. Ensure all freight is secured properly before transit to prevent damage during transportation. Navigate routes efficiently using GPS or maps, adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Assist with the loading and unloading of freight, utilizing skills in forklift operation and heavy equipment handling. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip. Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients upon delivery. Follow all safety protocols related to commercial driving and heavy equipment operation.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience in commercial driving, freight handling, or delivery services preferred. Skills in forklift operation, heavy equipment operation, or automotive repair are a plus. Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation. Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading freight. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
