The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and taste.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of meals based on monthly meal plans. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and guidelines. Assist with the organization and cleanliness of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Maintain a positive attitude while working under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the restaurant or food service industry is preferred. Knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques, and safety standards. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when necessary. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, and holidays as needed. A passion for cooking and helping create memorable dining experiences for guests.
