We are looking for a part-time cook available for evening and closing shifts. The cook is responsible for assisting the Kitchen Manager in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of all food for guests and employees.
Responsibilities
Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.)
Cook a wide variety of menu items
Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
Check quality of ingredients
Requirements
Knowledge of and ability to operate institutional and job related food service tools and equipment
Knowledge of and demonstrated ability in corporate core competencies including customer service, communication, team work, accountability, flexibility and adaptability
Ability to work effectively independently or as part of a team
Ability to withstand long periods of walking, standing and frequent bending and twisting
Ability to work outside regular business hours, as required, and to work a variety of shifts.
Salary: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
