Reporting to the Management Team, this position will rotate between 3 different parking lot sites and requires reliable personal transportation. Parking Lot Attendants play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations within the parking facility. This position involves customer service, managing incoming and outgoing vehicles, and assisting the public and staff members with parking-related inquiries.
Responsibilities and Deliverables:
Assist customers in the use of automated parking equipment, recognizing and respecting the individual needs of each customer.
Assist customers in person by taking payments for parking, answering questions, and providing directions.
Completing minor equipment repairs as required, and minimizing any downtime to parking operation.
Cleaning help desk and parking equipment frequently.
Actively identify and report any issues with equipment to the supervisor.
Patrol parking lots and issue notices for infractions as required.
Setting up and taking down mobile signs.
Build positive relationships with customers.
Note the nature of complaints received by customers, and actively help develop and suggest solutions.
Communicate verbally with customers and clients in English.
Performs other duties as requested by the Management Team.
Required Qualifications and Competencies:
Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
High level of interpersonal skills, including poise and diplomacy.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong work ethic and commitment to customer service.
Ability to work with a team.
Reliable personal transportation.
