Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Parking Enforcement Officer to maintain parking regulations and ensure the safety and efficiency of parking operations within the community. This role involves monitoring designated areas, issuing citations for violations, and providing excellent customer service to the public. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a professional demeanor. Responsibilities

Monitor assigned parking areas to enforce parking regulations and ordinances Issue citations for parking violations in accordance with established policies Assist motorists with questions regarding parking rules and regulations Record and report daily activities, violations, and incidents accurately Collaborate with law enforcement or other city departments as needed Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while interacting with the public Conduct routine inspections of parking meters, signage, and equipment to ensure proper functioning

Experience

Prior experience in parking enforcement, security, or related fields is preferred but not required Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with the public and team members Ability to handle stressful situations professionally and courteously Basic knowledge of local parking laws and regulations is advantageous but training will be provided Must demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to community service
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$31.05 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
