Overview:
Commissionaires Great Lakes offers an immediate opportunity for a versatile, highly motivated Security Professional. We are looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal and verbal communications skills, strong working knowledge of computer systems, CCTV experience, a positive attitude and the ability to provide excellent customer service, security and protection for our client\'s site. As a front-line representative of our company and client\xe2\x80\x99s site you must be highly reliable, work well under pressure, able to work with minimal supervision, have the ability to m and be a professional who takes pride in your dress, deportment and performance at all times.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enforce the City of Stratford Parking By-Laws and related policies
- Maintain assigned patrol beat as per schedule, or as requested by the client
- Conduct daily inspection of site equipment, including hand-held machines, printers, and duty vehicle (if applicable)
- Respond to calls from the City of Stratford, for parking By-Law enforcement
- Provide assistance to other members of the detachment, as well as law enforcement agencies, as requested
- Maintain a high level of standards with regards to personal appearance, hygiene, and deportment
- Provide assistance to city residents, visitors, employees, clients, etc
- Complete daily logs and written reports as necessary
- Be a frontline ambassador for the City of Stratford, Commissionaires Great Lakes
- Be able to adjust your scheduled shifts as requested by the client, based on city events or other needs
- Perform other duties as requested by client, supervisor, or regional manager
Requirements
- Possess a valid Class \'G\' Ontario Driver\'s License
- Provide proof of full vaccination; maintain compliance with CGL and client vaccination policies
- Possess excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Suite. eg: Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
- Be able to think critically
- Be able to de-escalate situations as necessary
- A comprehensive knowledge of the City of Stratford streets, venues, and events is an asset
- Take ongoing courses offered through CGL, or by client, that will enhance your ability to act as a Parking By-Law Officer"
