Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Parking Enforcement Officer to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining order and safety in parking areas, ensuring compliance with local parking regulations. Duties

Monitor parking areas to enforce compliance with local parking laws and regulations. Issue citations for violations, ensuring accurate documentation of each incident. Communicate effectively with the public regarding parking rules and regulations. Respond to inquiries from the public in a courteous and professional manner. Collaborate with local law enforcement when necessary to address parking-related issues. Maintain detailed records of citations issued and incidents encountered during shifts. Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter illegal parking practices.

Qualifications

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with the public and team members. Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with local traffic laws and regulations is preferred but not required; training will be provided. High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting. Must be able to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally. A valid driver's license is required; a clean driving record is preferred. Previous experience in law enforcement, security, or customer service is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.55-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 44 per week
