Key Responsibilities:

• 2D & 3D Design: Choosing the appropriate equipment, colours, and layouts for our playgrounds, while also considering budget and client requests.
• Design Leader: Good understanding of universal design principles, industry best practices, and visually appealing aesthetics.
• Accessible Design: Understanding of ADA design principles, and the unique design considerations required for children with disabilities.
• Design Revisions: Work in conjunction with our Sales Team to manage design revisions and customer feedback, as requested.
• 3D Renderings: Collaborate with our Marketing Team to transform designs and drawings into high-quality 3D renderings.
• Design Compliance: Verify that all playground design drawings conform to industry safety standards, including CSA and CPSI.

Skills / Qualifications:

• CAD Experience: Experience with AutoCAD and other 3D modelling software. Able to quickly study and learn our industry-specific software.
• Construction Knowledge: Knowledgeable of basic construction practices. Able to generate site layout drawings for installers to use.
• Industry Experience: Prior experience working in the parks and recreation, city planning, or landscape design industries is an asset.
• Multi-Tasker: Capable of working on several projects in different stages at the same time. Effective team player with solid communication skills.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization skills. Able to visualize 3D objects from 2D drawings.
