WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Outdoor winter sports environment with variable weather conditions (snow, rain, cold).
Physically active tasks including lifting, digging, and assisting with maintenance or events.
Volunteers work under the supervision of staff and must follow safety protocols.
JOB OVERVIEW:
The Volunteer Park Crew Member helps support park operations while having fun in the terrain park. The role focuses on
digging, jibbing, feature maintenance, and good times
, with a hint of hard labor. Volunteers assist paid staff, ensuring the park is safe, welcoming, and well-maintained during
peak periods and special events
.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Enthusiasm for winter sports and park operations.
Ability to work outdoors performing physical tasks in varying weather.
Reliable and able to commit to scheduled volunteer hours.
Team player with good communication skills.
DUTIES:
Assist with park maintenance: trails, features, litter pickup, minor repairs.
Support events: setup, registration, guest coordination, breakdown.
Volunteer during peak periods, special events, or busy weather days.
Follow safety protocols and staff guidance.
Help with snow removal, feature set up and testing, moving boxes and rails, shaping, raking etc.
