Responsibilities
Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle to deliver parcels along designated routes.
Load and unload packages efficiently using tools like pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary.
Ensure accurate delivery by verifying recipient details and obtaining signatures upon receipt.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting recipients professionally and addressing any questions or concerns.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform routine safety checks, and report any mechanical issues promptly.
Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices.
Keep detailed records of deliveries, route logs, and any incidents that occur during shifts.
Requirements
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driver's license (CDL) or driver certification preferred.
Proven delivery driver experience with familiarity in route driving and heavy lifting.
Experience operating box trucks, manual transmission vehicles, forklifts, or pallet jacks is highly desirable.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
Ability to lift heavy packages repeatedly and perform physical tasks such as moving boxes or equipment.
Warehouse experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with loading/unloading procedures.
