Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for picking up, transporting and delivering parcels in a timely and safely manner. This role requires excellent driving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed.

Duties

Sort and load parcels into the vehicle based on the delivery route. Unload and deliver parcels at designated addresses. Plan efficient delivery routes using company software and adjust routes in response to traffic, weather, or road conditions. Communicate with customers to resolve minor delivery issues, such as incorrect addresses or missing packages. Perform heavy lifting and moving of items as required during deliveries Follow traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations. Keep the delivery vehicle clean and in good condition and report any mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications:

Valid class 5 CANADIAN driver's license clean driving records Previous experience for at least one year in parcel delivery business. Strong customer service skills and communication. Ability to lift up to 70 Lb. Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
