Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Personal Injury Paralegal to support our legal team in managing plaintiff-side personal injury files from intake through resolution. The successful candidate will play a key role in client communication, document preparation, litigation support, and coordination with medical providers, insurers, and opposing counsel.

Responsibilities

Open and manage personal injury files (motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, disability claims,etc) Maintain organized physical and electronic files; Conduct client intake interviews and follow-up; Maintain regular contact with clients regarding file progress; Request and obtain medial, employment, and financial records; Assist clients with Accident Benefits and treatment plans. Prepare and file for LAT hearings; Assist with preparation of discovery materials and undertakings; Organize trial and mediation briefs; Assist lawyers with discoveries, mediation and pre-trials; Manage Accident Benefit claims and related documentation; Court filings (electronic and in-person where required; Ensure compliance with court rules and Law Society requirements.
Qualifications and Experience

Diploma or Certificate in Paralegal Studies ; Minimum 2-5 years experience in a personal injury law firm; Strong knowledge of personal injury litigation and accident benefits; Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication with clients and colleagues. Experience in legal drafting is preferred but not required. Strong interviewing skills to gather necessary information from clients. Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
