Stellar Law Professional Corporation is a boutique litigation firm in Toronto with a growing criminal law practice. We are seeking a licensed and motivated

Paralegal

to assist with disclosure review, court attendances, and client support in criminal matters.

Responsibilities

Review, analyze, and summarize criminal disclosure (police notes, witness statements, video evidence, reports, etc.). Identify disclosure gaps, inconsistencies, and issues relevant to defence strategy. Prepare concise disclosure briefs and case summaries for lawyer review. Attend routine criminal court appearances, including set dates and adjournments, on behalf of counsel. Communicate with clients regarding scheduling, disclosure status, and next steps. Liaise with the Crown Attorney's office, court staff, and other parties as required. Maintain accurate, organized electronic and physical files. Assist with trial preparation, including compiling exhibit briefs and undertaking follow-up requests.
Qualifications

Licensed Paralegal in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario (LSO). Minimum 1-2 years of experience in criminal law preferred (courtroom experience is an asset). Strong knowledge of the

Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong analytical and organizational abilities with attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, and familiarity with electronic disclosure platforms. Ability to work independently, manage competing deadlines, and maintain professionalism in court settings.
