AlgaeCal is looking for a Vancouver-based Paralegal who can hit the ground running as a valued part of our legal team.

This job might be for you if you've got...

• A proven ability to manage corporate documents, from drafting resolutions to maintaining electronic and paper minute books without missing a beat.
• 2+ years of experience as a corporate legal assistant, ideally in the eCommerce space, where you handled everything from filings to contract administration.
• Experience assisting in the drafting of corporate resolutions and ancillary documents, ensuring they are accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements.
• A resume that demonstrates your ability to assist in filing Annual Returns for multiple entities, ensuring all deadlines are met and filings are accurate.
• Experience in legal research tools and the know-how to dive deep into laws, rulings, and regulations to find the answers that matter.
• A keen attention to detail, ensuring all legal documents are accurate, thorough, and compliant with regulations.
• Experience preparing standard operating procedure (SOP) guidelines for the legal business unit, ensuring processes are consistent and follow best practices.
• Strong skills in implementing and maintaining an efficient contract lifecycle management system, ensuring all contracts are tracked, executed, and stored properly.
• Some experience acting as the liaison with outside counsel, ensuring effective communication and smooth collaboration on legal matters.
• Bonus points for experience in the health or eCommerce sectors-you know the ins and outs of this fast-paced, dynamic environment.
