Job Description

As a

Paralegal

, you will play a key role in supporting the company's legal and contractual activities. You will work closely with in-house counsel, operational teams, and stakeholders to ensure the efficient management of legal files, the preparation of contractual documents, monitoring of regulatory obligations, and coordination of administrative processes. Your methodical, detail-oriented, and results-driven approach will contribute directly to the achievement of the company's strategic objectives. More specifically, you will:


Prepare, review, and update legal and contractual documents (agreements, letters, templates, appendices, etc.); Support legal counsel in the review and negotiation of commercial contracts; Conduct legal research and analyze relevant information to support ongoing matters; Track important deadlines (renewals, notices, contractual obligations); Maintain and organize legal files, contract databases, and corporate records; Support regulatory compliance (access to information requests, data protection, applicable laws, etc.); Assist in updating legal templates, internal procedures, and work tools; Coordinate communications with external law firms, as needed; Contribute to the preparation of documents for bids and RFP submissions, audits, and internal/external meetings; Assist in organizing legal and compliance training sessions for internal teams. Provide day-to-day administrative support to the legal department; Draft, review, and manage legal documents and templates (NDAs, letters, etc.); Organize, maintain, and update legal files, databases, and document management systems; Support contract lifecycle processes, including approvals, signatures, renewals, and archiving; Contribute to process improvements and updates to legal workflows and tools.

Qualifications





College diploma or university certificate in paralegal studies or law; Minimum of three years of relevant experience as a paralegal in a law firm, corporate legal department, or government organization; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems; Excellent drafting, organizational, and time management skills; Attention to detail, discretion, and professionalism; Proficiency in English is required, as the incumbent will interact with our English-speaking clients, partners, and suppliers; Successfully complete the investigation and security clearance process required by the federal government's Contract Security Program.
