Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Wire Harness Assembler to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling wire harnesses and ensuring that all components meet quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical assembly and possess the ability to read and interpret schematics. This position requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with various hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

Assemble wire harnesses according to specifications and schematics Perform soldering tasks as required for electrical connections Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to complete assemblies Conduct quality inspections of assembled products to ensure compliance with IPC 610 standards Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency Document assembly processes and report any discrepancies or defects

Qualifications

Proven experience in manufacturing or electrical assembly, specifically with wire harnesses Familiarity with PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assembly and surface mount technology Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams Proficient in using calipers, ohmmeters, and other measuring instruments Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in hand tools and power tools Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Previous experience in soldering techniques is preferred Electrical experience is highly desirable
