- Degree or Diploma in environmental science, social sciences, or similar degree. Relevant work experience may be considered.
- General knowledge of Yukon Environment and Socio-economic Assessment Act, as well as Yukon First Nations and First Nations Agreements is required.
- Experience working in a First Nation government is considered an asset.
- Developing and managing procedures to support Panel and Hearing processes and compliance with legislative requirements.
- Development of guidelines, processes, and template documents to support Panel Reviews.
- Managing all aspects of the panel process including hearings.
- Provide information to project proponents, governments, First Nations, communities, stakeholder groups and the public on the Panel Review process.
- Coordinate assessment staff, technical support and other resources to support Panel Reviews.
