The Opportunity:

We are seeking a full time Senior Buyer (Buyer II) to join our team in London, Ontario!

As the Senior Buyer, you will:

Manage the negotiation and procurement of various project goods/services in support of aftermarket, service, and/or project execution.

Resolve supply chain logistical and accounting concerns with both suppliers and Pall Water internal customers.

Manage supplier performance, supplier evaluation, and supplier development, completing interviews, making recommendations, and selecting vendors/suppliers using an established supplier qualification process.

Develop and implement advanced sourcing strategies that will drive direct & indirect cost savings.

Develop RFP\'s and RFQ\'s to support engineering specifications and project requirements.

Travel internationally (up to 20% of the time), most across North America, to manage vendor relationships and participate in continuous improvement events.

Are you qualified? The essential requirements of the job include:

A Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, or an equivalent discipline/program.

A minimum of five (5) years\xe2\x80\x99 procurement/category management experience.

ERP / MRP system knowledge \xe2\x80\x93 we especially want to hear from you if you have previously worked with SAP or Infor LN.

You are a strong critical thinker and problem solver who has a track record of achieving results in a high-performance / metrics-driven culture.

You possess strong communication and negotiation skills with a \xe2\x80\x9ccustomer-centered\xe2\x80\x9d attitude.

It would be a plus if you also possess:

Previous procurement experience in the water industry, especially in water filtration or treatment.

Previous experience working for a project-based business.
