Fluxwerx Illumination Inc. is a leading innovator in an industry experiencing unprecedented growth. From our local facility in Port Kells, Surrey, we design, manufacture, and market architectural lighting products. This role supports the Paintline Team by hanging parts on the conveyor system in a proficient and timely manner to ensure the painter and QC/Unhang team members have optimal production support.

We are looking for an energetic and team-oriented

Paintline Support

(Powder Coating) to join our growing team. This is a full-time Monday to Thursday nightshift position (3:45pm - 2:15am).

The Role

Prepare parts for hanging (Plugs, Masking tape, hooks), as needed. Load/Hang Parts onto the production line in a timely manner to keep up with production requirements. Change hangers, hanging patterns, and racks, as required. Unload and complete final quality inspections, and package appropriately to company standards, as required. When necessary, Perform required quality checks using paint thickness measuring tools. Communicate regularly with the team to support each other, as needed. Some examples include: Communicate with team to adjust the spray gun controls, as needed. Communicate required line-stops, if necessary Communicate any issues with the production line that require attention Regular and/or necessary department housekeeping. Follow all safety policies and procedures. Other duties, as required by the Manager.

Experience/Requirements

Experience working in a fast-paced environment. Minimum of 6 months powder coating experience, including plugging, masking, hanging, etc. Ability to lift up to 50lbs in a repetitive nature due to high-volume job orders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
