Distinctively Paint is a full service interior painting company with a specialty in cabinet painting. We are a fast growing, busy company with consistent full time hours. We train and promote from within where ever possible. There is a ton of opportunity to move up.

We are looking for a painters helper / prepper that is a quick study, quick mover, and motivated to grow. Prep is just the beginning, but it is the key to a quality project. We take the training and growth of our employees very seriously, and it shows!

Most trades have an unpredictable schedule - it can be hard to know if you are going to get full time hours or not. Not here! We are always busy. You won't need to worry about full paycheques.

We have 2 prepper positions open.

Field Prepper:

This position has an ever changing location so a vehicle is a must. You will often be required to bring doors back to the shop or pick up product at the paint store. Primary duties include prepping kitchen cabinets, sanding & masking. Detailed clean of painted areas in home after painting is complete. Manual dexterity is important to quickly and accurately handle a hand masker. A vehicle suitable to move doors and paint is mandatory for this role.

Booth Prepper:

This position is mostly in shop but some days shop crew are called to site to help out, so a vehicle and drivers license is required. Primary duties include prepping cabinet doors to be sprayed - this means lots and lots of sanding. Other housekeeping tasks are part of the gig as well.

Criminal Record check required. Valid drivers license and transportation required.

Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
