Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and industrial painting, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various projects.

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and caulking as necessary. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements. Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete tasks. Restore surfaces by repairing drywall and performing necessary patchwork. Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project duration. Collaborate with other team members to ensure project timelines are met.

Skills

Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics related to painting projects. Strong skills in caulking and drywall repair techniques. Experience with industrial painting processes as well as residential painting applications. Ability to operate various power tools and hand tools effectively. Knowledge of rigging techniques for safe handling of materials at height when necessary. Attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality finishes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$35.00 per hour
