Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter / Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting techniques, including industrial and commercial painting. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of color theory, and handyman skills. The Industrial Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint using various methods, and ensuring high-quality finishes on a range of projects.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary. Apply paint using airless paint spraying techniques and other methods to achieve desired finishes. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for painting tasks and other tasks. Conduct maintenance and restoration work on existing structures as needed. Collaborate with construction teams on residential and commercial projects to ensure timely completion. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.

Skills

Strong knowledge of color theory and its application in various painting projects. Experience in residential, commercial, and industrial painting techniques. Familiarity with plastering, caulking, stucco application, and trim carpentry. Ability to perform concrete finishing, masonry work, and general maintenance person tasks. Previous construction site experience is preferred; understanding of renovation processes is a plus. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
