Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Construction & Maintenance Painter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring a high-quality finish on various components. This role requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of painting techniques and safety protocols

Duties

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed. Repair cracks and holes Mix paint to desired color and texture. Operate painting equipment ; airless, conventional, electrostatic, multi-ratio pump sprays, rollers Testing equipment experience: holiday detectors, wet/dry micron gauges Surface preparation with sandblaster, steam cleaning Utilize hand tools, power tools, as necessary for surface preparation and repair work. Coating / application specialization with multi finishes, urethanes, powder coatings, tank linings, spray painting Conduct routine maintenance on painting equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment Perform basic math calculations for mixing paints and estimating material needs.

Requirements

3 - 5 years proven experience i is required. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate machinery safely is advantageous. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and painting equipment. Hand-eye coordination and ability to distinguish between colors Capable of physically demanding work, with bending, crouching, kneeling and heavy lifting Ability to work of ladder and scaffolding Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 44 per week
