We are seeking a

Painter/Crack Filler

Full-time | Standard Work Hours:

37.5 hours per week

| On-Call



Salary Range:

$45,000-$50,000 (Dependent on qualifications)

Responsibilities:



The Painter/Crack Filler is a vital member of the operations department, contributing to the seamless execution of maintenance and renovation tasks with precision and professionalism. The ideal candidate will demonstrate composure under pressure, maintaining focus and organization to meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality. With a diverse skill set and extensive experience across various maintenance areas, the individual in this role is committed to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the highest standards of workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide professional painting services for residential units, common areas, and building exteriors

Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and removing old paint or wallpaper

Identify and repair cracks, holes, and imperfections in walls, ceilings, and other surfaces

Apply appropriate primers, paints, and finishes using proper techniques and equipment

Perform drywall repairs, including taping, mudding, and texturing as necessary

Complete turnover painting and repairs between tenant occupancies, ensuring quick turnaround times

Maintain detailed records of completed work, materials used, and time spent on tasks

Adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment at all times

Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards throughout the duration of each project

Collaborate with the Property Management Coordinator to ensure timely scheduling and proper material procurement

Assist in identifying potential structural issues that may require further attention or repair

Work efficiently to minimize tenant disruption while maintaining high-quality standards throughout all tasks

Perform crack filling and painting for larger-scale company renovation projects, which may include working in active construction environments and coordinating tasks alongside other trades

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications / Requirements:



The qualified candidate will possess one or more of the following

5+ years of experience in renovations and tenant improvements

Great troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, active listener, and critical thinker.

Must be confident using smartphones, apps, computers, etc.
