Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled, professional, and experienced
Paint Protection Film Installer
to join our growing team at Sunshield Tech Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installing PPF on various vehicles, with attention to detail and a passion for delivering flawless results.
As a PPF Installer, you will be responsible for applying paint protection film to vehicles to preserve their paintwork from scratches, chips, and other environmental damage. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring each installation meets our high standards of quality and precision.
Key Responsibilities
PPF Installation
: Accurately measure and cut paint protection film to fit vehicles' body panels and surfaces. Install film on vehicles according to company standards and customer specifications.
Surface Preparation
: Thoroughly clean and prepare vehicle surfaces before film application, ensuring proper adhesion and a smooth finish.
Quality Assurance
: Inspect finished work to ensure there are no bubbles, wrinkles, or imperfections in the film. Maintain the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Customer Interaction
: Communicate effectively with customers regarding the process, timeline, and benefits of paint protection film installation. Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering top-notch service.
Maintain Equipment and Tools
: Regularly maintain tools and equipment to ensure their proper functioning and safety.
Workplace Cleanliness
: Keep the work environment clean and organized, adhering to safety protocols and company guidelines.
Requirements
Experience
: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in PPF installation, with a proven track record of successful installations on a variety of vehicle models.
Attention to Detail
: Ability to work meticulously and with precision, ensuring flawless installations every time.
Technical Skills
: Strong understanding of PPF products and installation techniques. Familiarity with different film brands, including their specific features and installation requirements.
Physical Stamina
: Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and handle physically demanding tasks, such as lifting and positioning vehicle parts.
Customer-Focused
: Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide outstanding customer service.
Team Player
: Willingness to collaborate with fellow technicians and team members to meet deadlines and maintain high standards.
Driving License
: Valid driver's license required for occasional vehicle transport or customer service needs.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification or training in paint protection film installation.
Knowledge of ceramic coatings and other vehicle protection products.
Experience with various vehicle types, including luxury, exotic, and high-performance cars.
Ability to perform minor touch-ups and repairs on installations when necessary.
