We are seeking a dedicated Paint Prepper to join our team at CSN Windsor Collision Centre in Windsor, NS . This role is vital in preparing vehicles for painting, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet our standards. Join us to work on a variety of projects from minor repairs to heavy hits, contributing to our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces. Ensure all surfaces are clean and ready for the painting process. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Collaborate with the painting team to achieve high-quality results. Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times. Support heavy lifting tasks as needed during vehicle preparation. Contribute to continuous improvement of work processes. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Prior or automotive repair experience is a plus. Knowledge of safety standards in auto body shops is preferred. Assist painters with booth setup and cleanup Inspect surfaces and correct imperfections before paint Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Work closely with a small, supportive team
