We are currently seeking a Paint Prepper with experience in automotive painting to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Prep equipment surfaces by masking, sanding, caulking, and cleaning Assist with repairing minor damage (cracks, dents, etc.) on equipment Support the painter with day-to-day tasks and help keep the process flowing Paint small parts as needed (training can be provided) Do basic assembly/disassembly work on machinery as part of prep Follow safety protocols and use appropriate protective gear Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Qualifications:
Experience working in a manufacturing or shop environment Willingness to learn and take direction Good work ethic and team-oriented mindset Comfortable with physically demanding tasks (lifting, kneeling, climbing ladders, etc.) Ability to read safety data sheets; reading blueprints is a bonus but not required Must be fluent in English (written and spoken) Reliable transportation to and from work
