Sommaire



Sous la supervision du Controleur corporatif, le titulaire de ce poste est responsable de la gestion complete du cycle de paie pour l'ensemble des employes de l'entreprise. Il assure le traitement de groupes de paie dans differentes provinces Canadiennes et aux Etats-Unis. Il veille a l'exactitude, a la conformite legale et a la ponctualite du traitement de la paie, tout en agissant a titre de personne-ressource pour les questions relatives a la remuneration, aux avantages sociaux et aux retenues a la source. Occasionnellement ou sur demande, il effectue d'autres taches connexes.

Responsabilites



S'occuper du traitement du cycle de paie complet des differents groupes de paie (hebdomadaire, bi-hebdomadaire, Canada, Etats-Unis etc.). Saisir, verifier et valider dans le SIRH les donnees de paie : heures travaillees, primes, conges, absences, retenues, etc. Collaborer avec les ressources humaines, la comptabilite et les differents gestionnaires pour valider les donnees de paie.

Repondre aux questions des employes

concernant leur paie, leurs deductions et autres demandes connexes. Maintenir a jour les dossiers des employes relatifs a la paie et s'assurer de la conformite des informations. Assurer l'integrite des differentes banques (vacances, conges, maladies etc.) Produire les releves d'emploi et documents fiscaux requis. Administrer les differents programmes d'avantages sociaux et en assurer le suivi. Assurer l'application des politiques d'entreprise et la conformite des lois fiscales et des normes du travail. Preparer les rapports et les conciliations requis pour la comptabilite. Effectuer les ecritures de paie et de fin de mois en lien avec la paie. Participer aux audits internes et externes lies a la paie.

Formation academique et experience professionnelle



Detenir un DEC en comptabilite, administration ou domaine connexe et/ou Avoir un minimum de 5 ans d'experience en paie Canadienne et Americaine. Avoir une certification de specialiste en conformite de la paie (SCP) de l'Association Canadienne de la paie (atout).

Competences



Bilingue (francais et anglais.) Maitrise du SIRH Dayforce (Ceridian). Bonne maitrise des normes du travail (Quebec, Canada et Etats-Unis). Capacite a mettre en place et maintenir une structure des processus de paie. Capacite a gerer une paie complexe (horaires variables, primes, commissions etc.). Faire preuve de rigueur et de minutie. Habilete a faire des conciliations et verifications d'exactitude. Avoir un grand sens de l'organisation. Capacite a gerer plusieurs dossiers/echeances en meme temps. Discretion, sens de l'ethique et souci de confidentialite. Souci de bien servir la clientele interne, capacite a communiquer efficacement. Etre oriente vers la resolution de problemes.

Summary



Under the supervision of the Corporate Controller, the incumbent is responsible for the complete management of the payroll cycle for all company employees. He/she is responsible for processing payroll groups in various Canadian provinces and in the United States. He/she ensures the accuracy, legal compliance and timeliness of payroll processing, while acting as a resource person for questions relating to compensation, benefits and source deductions. Occasionally or upon request, performs other related duties.

Responsibilities



Process the entire payroll cycle for the various payroll groups (weekly, bi-weekly, Canada, USA, etc.). Enter, verify and validate payroll data in HRIS: hours worked, bonuses, leave, absences, deductions, etc. Collaborate with human resources, accounting and other managers to validate payroll data. Answer employees' questions regarding their pay, deductions and other related requests. Maintain up-to-date employee payroll files and ensure compliance of information. Ensure the integrity of the various banks (vacation, leave, illness, etc.). Produce records of employment and tax documents as required. Administer and monitor various benefits programs. Ensure application of company policies and compliance with tax laws and labor standards. Prepare reports and reconciliations required for accounting purposes. Perform payroll and month-end entries related to payroll. Participate in internal and external payroll audits.

Academic background and professional experience



DEC in accounting, administration or related field and/or A minimum of 5 years' experience in Canadian and U.S. payroll. Payroll Compliance Specialist (PCS) certification from the Canadian Payroll Association (an asset).

Skills



Bilingual (French and English) Proficiency in Dayforce HRIS (Ceridian). Good knowledge of labor standards (Quebec, Canada and United States). Ability to set up and maintain a payroll process structure. Ability to manage a complex payroll (variable hours, bonuses, commissions, etc.). Thoroughness and attention to detail. Ability to perform reconciliations and accuracy checks. Strong organizational skills. Ability to manage several files/deadlines at the same time. Discretion, ethics and confidentiality. Concern for internal customer service, ability to communicate effectively. Problem-solving orientation.
