Characteristic Duties:
Under the direct supervision of the Manager or Co-ordinator of library section or branch:
1. Shelve and file library materials.
2. Read and straighten shelves.
3. Shift books (i.e. major move or reorganization).
4. Retrieve periodicals.
5. Assist in preparing materials for withdrawal.
6. Pack and unpack boxes.
7. Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of CGS's Safety Manual and the applicable Provincial Legislation listed therein.
8. Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
Successful completion of Secondary School (Grade X) Education.
No experience necessary.
Work with numbers and letters in sequence.
Competencies:
Competency Library - Level 1 Proficiency
