GRADE RANGE: $22.00 - 23.99 Per Hour

We are currently seeking a professional and energetic trainer for our Florenceville, NB Potato Processing Plant. Reporting directly to the Packaging Lead-Hand; this role will maintain the packaging operator certification program to safely develop operator capability and efficiency.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coach packaging operators on fundamental operation of packaging equipment
  • Scheduling of employee training sessions
  • Administer certification testing
  • Maintain an accurate record of training records for all employees
  • Support Operator Asset Care activities
  • Support 5S and MDI processes in the packaging area
  • Support center-lining activities to optimize change-over activities
Qualifications:
  • Minimum Grade 12 education
  • Thorough understanding of the packaging process
  • Ability and experience working with High Performance Teams is considered an asset.
  • Must be able to work with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to work independently within a fast-paced demanding environment
  • Able to prioritize and complete tasks with a keen sense of urgency
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal and written as well as effective presentation skills (previous experience in delivery of training will be considered an asset).
  • Strong computer skills are required, particularly with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook).
