Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented meat Packager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products are packaged efficiently and accurately, ready for distribution. This role requires a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a meat processing plant.

Duties

Preparing and Packaging:

Inspecting, cleaning, weighing, wrapping, and packaging meat products.

Following Specifications:

Ensuring products meet customer orders and specifications.

Labeling and Identification:

Properly labeling and identifying packaged meat products.

Operating Equipment:

Utilizing machinery and equipment for meat preparation and packaging.

Maintaining Cleanliness:

Keeping the work area clean and organized.

Adhering to Safety and Sanitation:

Following all safety and sanitation guidelines.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.

Attention to Detail:

Ensuring accuracy in packaging and labeling.

Experience

Previous experience in food processing environment is preferred, but not necessary. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.64-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 36 per week

Schedule:

Day shift Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
