The Packaging Labourer is responsible for understanding and carrying out all packaging duties as required and is expected to pack and assemble all products within the department maintaining a high standard of accuracy and quality.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Package and assemble products
• Follow direction given by supervisor or lead hand

• Pick products for work orders making sure all transfers are done accurately
• Use of computer and handheld to print labels and receive work orders
• Organize and put any products in their designated pick slot in the packaging area
• Work well independently or as part of a team
• Work quickly and confidently in a fast-paced environment, following all Company policies and procedures

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Recommend and suggest any process improvements to increase departmental efficiency
• Maintain work areas and keep them well organized and clean
