Sampling Technician/Material Handler I

12 Month Contract
Stouffville, Ontario
The Sampling Technician will be responsible for sampling and Identification testing of raw materials, printed and unprinted packaging components and/or sampling of bulk and finished product, as well as support with Material Handling as required.

Tasks and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Accurately performs duties in accordance with SOP, GMPs, MBR, Environmental, Health & Safety procedures, Equipment Manuals and working instructions.
  • Perform sampling of raw materials, printed and unprinted packaging components, bulk and finished product in accordance with current SOPs/GMPs for retains, analytical testing, investigations, retesting, Raw Material Item Number/LotTransfers and/or protocols.
  • Perform identification testing on incoming raw materials in compliance with SOPs/GMPs.
  • Preform retain sampling activities.
  • Perform Acceptance Quality Limit (AQL) sampling and inspections as required.
  • Ensure all records (sampling records, investigation reports, etc.) are properly and adequately maintained and filed appropriately in accordance with approved Teva Canada procedure to ensure audit readiness for regulatory and customer audits.
  • Liaise with Planning, Operations, other QA teams, Warehouse and QC to resolve issues relating to sampling.
  • Work collaboratively with site operations/QA in the resolution of GDP/GMP quality incidents to ensure compliance with GMPs and SOPs.
  • Support Warehouse team with Material Handling as required and other duties as assigned.


Qualifications


Completed high school diploma; Canadian Accredited College Diploma in Science or related discipline is preferred 1 + year of experience relevant experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Product Development or Production Proficiency working knowledge of windows, Oracle and TrackWise Demonstrated knowledge of SOP\xe2\x80\x99s, GMP\xe2\x80\x99s and health and safety procedures including OH&S Act & WHMIS is preferred. Two (2) years of experience in a warehouse environment Valid forklift license is an asset, or demonstrated material handling experience with capability to obtain license.
