Overview

As a People and Transformation Intern in our group, you will work with our internal stakeholders and employees to create and bring value to our day-to-day operations and human resources processes. We are looking for a self-starting, collaborative individual with an eye for continuous improvement to join our team. This position reports to the People Partner and is based out of our Moncton, New Brunswick office, with the potential to work on a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the coordination of employee leave of absence and benefit payments
  • Coordinate various employee engagement activities across the site including fundraisers, sponsorships and employee events
  • Manage HR data reports and communicate data when necessary to leadership and various stakeholders
  • Assist in the smooth operations of the onboarding and benefits processes
  • Conduct various audit exercises to ensure our documents and records remain updated
  • Develop employee resources to improve the employee or candidate experience
  • Assist in other administrative duties or tasks
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program related to human resources or business administration
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
